Zagreb, January 16 (RHC-Minrex)-- On the occasion of the New Year's reception hosted by Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia, to the Diplomatic Corps accredited in that country, the Cuban Ambassador, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios exchanged greetings with the president and with other Croatian authorities. The opportunity reaffirmed the good state of bilateral relations and the will to continue strengthening them.
The Cuban Ambassador took the opportunity to thank the President of Croatia for the congratulatory message sent to President Raúl Castro, on the occasion of the 59th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Last year, Cuba and Croatia celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and maintain historical ties of friendship and cooperation, with broad potential and mutual willingness to increase ties in the economic-commercial sectors.
