Havana, January 18 (RHC)-- The head of the Chinese Communist Party's Foreign Relations Office Song Tao will begin an official visit to Cuba on Sunday, January 21st.
A brief communique issued by the office said the high-ranking Chinese official will travel to Havana in his capacity as special envoy of President Xi Jinping to meet with leaders of the Cuban Communist Party.
At those meetings, Song Tao will talk with his Cuban hosts about the results of the 19th Congress of Chinese communists, which marked the beginning of a new era toward the Asian country's socio-economic and political revitalization.
From Cuba, the Chinese political leader and his delegation will travel to Canada.
