Maputo, January 19 (RHC-Minrex)-- As part of the actions to consolidate and strengthen cooperation between Cuba and Mozambique in the field of Higher Education, Pavel Díaz Hernández, Ambassador of Cuba, held working meetings with the rectors of the most important universities of Mozambique, among them the Eduardo Mondelane University, the Pedagogical University, and the Polytechnical University, located in the capital, Maputo.
The exchanges dealt with issues of bilateral cooperation, from the presence of Cuban professors to new projects to diversify and promote, in a creative way, Cuba's presence in these universities.
The fruit of this collaboration has been the contribution to the training of hundreds of Mozambican specialists in the most diverse university specialties and their direct participation in the socio-economic development of that southern African country.
