Accra, May 9 (RHC)-- Cuban Ambassador Pedro L. Despaigne González was received at the Ghanaian Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection by the Minister, Otiko Afisah Djaba, where they talked about possible areas of cooperation.
The Cuban Ambassador explained how the incorporation of Cuban women in different sectors of society has worked, with women now being represented at the highest level of the State and the government.
The Ghanaian Minister outlined her plans to visit the Caribbean island. Abdul Samed Abdulai of the Institute for Peace and Progress (IPP), with its offices in Ghana, also participated in the meeting.
