Havana, June 11 (RHC)-- Representatives from Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico and Russia met over the weekend in the eastern province of Guantánamo to discuss the connection between universities and local development projects.
Participants attending the Fourth Scientific Workshop on managing sociocultural and local development projects shared experiences and visited sites of socio-economic interest as well as communities where local development projects are underway.
As part of the event, the president of Mexico's inter-university Commission for Social Service, Susana Angélica Pastran, led a conference on the impact of social service programs on the comprehensive training of university students.
