Beijing, July 4 (RHC)-- Representatives from Cuba and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in a wide variety of legal matters.
The document was signed in Beijing by José Alexis Ginarte, president of the Cuban National Association of Jurors (UNJC) and Zhang Mingqi, vice-president of China Law Society. It provides for join research, personnel training and expert exchange.
Ginarte said the MoU aims to consolidate bilateral exchanges on matters in which Cuba lacks the experience and practice achieved by countries like China.
Zhang, expressed satisfaction with the MoU, which provides the legal framework for bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the framework of the "Belt and Road" trade and infrastructure mega-project launched by Chinese president Xi Jinping.
