Havana, March 10 (RHC)-- The International Colloquium on Jose Marti, Cuba's National Hero, will be held from May 14th to the 16th in Havana, organizers told the press.

Sponsored by the Center for Studies on Marti, the event will pay tribute to the most universal of all Cubans on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the publication of his dramatic poem "Abdala."

The commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the publications "Vindicacion de Cuba," "Madre America" and the monthly magazine "La Edad de Oro" is also on the agenda.

Other activities also include a debate about less-studied areas of his literary production like notebooks, testimonies, fiction and art criticism present in his narrative, as well as his works for children and youth.
