Havana, November 1 (RHC)-- The Venezuelan Pavilion at the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV) was inaugurated Thursday with an expressed commitment to identify new products and services to trade bilaterally with Cuba.
At the ceremony, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz noted that Venezuela is Cuba's main trading partner. Malmierca expressed great satisfaction with the samples of Venezuelan products, noting that both countries are working to strengthen bilateral trade ties, as well as exchanges in the tourism sector.
Also on hand for the inauguration of the Venezuelan pavilion at Fihav 2018 was Stella Lugo Betancourt, Minister of People's Power for Tourism of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. She said it is a great honor to participate in one of the most important trade events in the Caribbean.
The Venezuelan official further said that this time the South American country presents a wide range of services and products, including household equipment, industrial and textile technology -- all with high standards of quality.
