Havana, March 18 (RHC) The Cuban television channel CubaVision International will broadcast to Angola and Mozambique as of March 23rd in the context of celebrations for the 26th anniversary of the heroic victory at Cuito Cuanavale.

With Angola and Mozambique, CubaVision TV now reaches 56 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa, where the channel is present in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

CubaVision is the only Cuban TV channel broadcasting via satellite to other countries of the world. The channel was set up in 1986 to provide information to Cuban internationalist combatants in Angola. In the early 1990s, after the demise of the Soviet Union, transmissions through a Russian to Africa were interrupted. Cuban TV will again resume its presence in Africa next month.
