Havana, January 16 (RHC)-- Cuban and Iranian enterprises will sign new bilateral agreements for cooperation in public health, commercial promotion and investment, energy, agriculture and sports.

The signing of the agreements will take place during the two days of work of the 17th Session of the Cuban-Iranian Inter-Governmental Commission, the website of the Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment reported.   The inauguration will be attended by officials and businessmen to exchange aspects of economic, financial, collaboration and investment relationships.

The celebration in Havana of the 17th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission is preceded by the visit to Iran, in December 2017, by the Vice President of the Council of State and Ministers Roberto Morales.

Likewise, it was preceded by sustained contacts, within the framework of the 73rd Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in September 2018, between Miguel Diaz-Canel, the Cuban President, and Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to evaluate proposals for collaboration in the field of health.
