Hanoi, March 26 (RHC) Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung begins a two-day official visit to Cuba on Wednesday, official sources announced in Hanoi.
The trip by Nguyen Tan Dung comes after a series of visit to the island by political authorities from the Asian nation in 2013, including Communist Party leader Le Hong Anh, Justice minister Ha Hung Cuong and an army delegation.
During his stay here, the Vietnamese Premier will hold official talks with President Raul Castro to further deepen bilateral economic, commercial and cooperation relations, according to the spokesperson of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Qin Gang, cited by PL news agency.
Before departing for Cuba, Nguyen Tan Dung told reporters that bilateral relations between his country and Havana are now in their best moment and marked by full development.
Relations between Vietnam and Cuba, which were established 55 years ago, have been an example of friendship, said the Premier, who noted that his visit to Havana will give him the opportunity to share information and experience on the Vietnamese renovation process and the update of the Cuban economic model.
