Tehran, May 13 (RHC)—The president of Iran´s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mine and Agriculture, Gholamhossein Shafei, said that his country is willing to promote business and investments in Cuba, Prensa Latina reports.
During an encounter with Alexis Bandrich, Cuban ambassador to Iran, Shafei voiced his country´s commitment to resume its participation in Havana´s International Trade Fair this year.
Both officials reaffirmed their countries interest in resisting and overcoming the unilateral coercive economic and financial measures imposed by the United States. They also acknowledge the need to boost economic-trade ties to bring them to the same level of good bilateral political relations.
