Havana, May 17 (RHC)—Cuban Communist Party leader, Raul Castro, met Thursday with Admiral Miao Hua, member of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China and director of its Political Outreach Department.

Hua and his delegation are paying an official visit to Cuba at the invitation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces Ministry.

During the encounter, the friendly relations between the peoples, parties, and armed forces of the two countries were highlighted.

On hand for the encounter were members of the Political Bureau of the Cuban Communist Party Army Corps Generals Leopoldo Cintra Frias, and Alvaro Lopez Miera, Ministers, and first vice Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces respectively.
