Beijing, May 29 (RHC)—Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday.
In a tweet, Rodriguez said that during the cordial meeting in Beijing, he and Yi ratified the excellent status of bilateral relations which will mark their 60th anniversary in 2020 and discussed several topics on the international agenda.
Also on Wednesday, the Cuban top diplomat met with Song Tao, head of the International Division of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. During the encounter, they highlighted the importance of relations between the two parties and exchanged experiences on building socialism in China and Cuba.
According to a press release by the Chinese Foreign Ministry´s during his visit, the Cuban minister will also take a look at cooperation on development projects, especially in the sectors of technology and development of infrastructure.
