Moscow, June 4 (RHC)-- The vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas met with Russian Minister of Transport, Evgueni Ditrij on Monday to evaluate bilateral agreements and prospects for cooperation in this area.
Cabrisas arrived in Russia last Friday on an official visit.
Prensa Latina reports that after his meeting last January in the Russian capital with Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Kozak and Ditrij, the Cuban Vice President highlighted the basis for cooperation within the framework of a strategic partnership between the two countries.
Such collaboration includes air, sea, automobile and rail transportation and energy, with the construction of blocks for thermoelectric plants, he explained.
The high-ranking Cuban official also held talks with the Russian minister of Agriculture, Dmitri Patrushev.
