Havana, Apr 5, (RHC), -- With the purpose of strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the field of sports, Cuba and Kazakhstan signed on Friday a cooperation agreement in Astana, capital of the latter.
The president of the Kazakh Sports and Physical Education Agency, Esentaev Tastanbek, and Cuba’s ambassador to Kazakhstan, Carlos Valdes, representing the Cuban Sports Institute (INDER) signed the document, which includes 10 articles, the Prensa Latina news agency reported.
The agreement expresses mutual willingness to increase sports skills and promote the participation of athletes, trainers and organizers of the two nations in competitions and other meetings.
Likewise, its was decided that the national teams of various disciplines carry out joint training activities and participate in competitions held in the two countr
