Havana, September 21 (RHC)-- Cuba's deputy minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodriguez rejected on Friday the attacks on the Saudi Aramco oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Reading a statement through the Foreign Ministry's Youtube channel, Rodriguez condemned the attacks against the two oil installations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an action that caused the suspension of almost 50 percent of the production of the Saudi Aramco company with damages to the national economy and risks to the stability of the global economy, the statement said.

In these circumstances - the text added - we call for containment, moderation and the avoidance of a dangerous escalation in the Middle East region that could lead to a greater threat to international peace and security.

Last September 14, oil installations in Saudi Arabia were the target of drone attacks that obstructed half of the oil production of the world's largest exporter.
