Havana, October 31 (RHC)-- The King and Queen of Spain -- Felipe VI and Letizia -- will make a state visit to Cuba from November 12 -14, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation announced Thursday.
In a press release, it said the trip will take place in the framework of the commemoration of the 5th centennial of the foundation of the city of Havana.
The statement added that the visit of the Spanish Head of State will serve to reflect, at the highest level, the excellence and intensity of bilateral relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Kingdom of Spain.
During their stay on the Caribbean island, Felipe VI and Doña Letizia will be accompanied by the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell.
