Havana, October 31 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel attended on Thursday the closing session of the III International Symposium on the Cuban Revolution, its Genesis, and Historical Development.
The event was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and to the thought and work of its historic leader, Fidel Castro Ruz.
The third of these biennial events, organized since 2015 by the Cuban History Institute, sought to stimulate debate and exchange of experiences for a better understanding of the Cuban Revolution.
Iván Peña, President of the Máximo Gómez Foundation; Luís Maldonado, vice-minister of education of the Dominican Republic; José Alfredo Castellanos of the Autonomous University of Chapingo in Mexico, as well as representatives of the movement Cuba Sí from Germany, were among the delegates at the event.
