Havana, April 19 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez says that the defeat suffered 59 years ago by U.S. imperialism at Playa Giron -- the Bay of Pigs -- is irreversible.
On his official Twitter account, Cuba's foreign minister recalled that on this date in 1961, "the Cuban people fought victoriously in defense of the homeland, independence and socialism," and that a year ago the U.S. government promised to change that history.
Bruno Rodriguez said that despite the desire of that administration to reverse its failure at that time, nearly 60 years later, Cuba is still standing and nothing will be able to change its path of victory.
