Havana, April 24 (RHC)-- Since the first cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on the island in early March, the Cuban government has carried out a daily battle against the pandemic, making it a priority on its agenda.
On Thursday, there were three meetings at the Palacio de la Revolucion dedicated to the confrontation of the new coronavirus -- with experts from Public Health, scientists from various sectors and finally with the members of the temporary working group created to lead Cuba's actions in the face of the complex scenario imposed by COVID-19.
Each of these meetings was united by a common thread: to gain time in the fight against this deadly virus, which is deceptive and not yet fully known.
