Santiago de Cuba, June 8 (RHC)-- On Cuban Jurist's Day, a representation of these professionals, complying with the measures of confrontation to the COVID-19, paid tribute to the founders of the Nation, in the Santa Ifigenia Patrimonial Cemetery, of this city, for being paradigms in the defense of Socialist Legality and in the provision of services to the people.

The tribute began with the chords of the Elegy to José Martí carried by the Guard of Honor of Santiago's cemetery, led by members of the ceremony unit, in charge of guarding this sacred altar of the country.

Floral offerings were deposited in the Mausoleum where the remains rest of the National Hero José Martí and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, the Father of the Country; before the tomb of Mariana Grajales, the Mother of All Cubans; and before the monolith that holds the ashes of the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro.

It is an honor for us to attend this event because in the daily work of Cuban lawyers, we have as a reference the work and thoughts of these heroes, three of them law graduates, an opportunity that recognizes the value of their actions in the historical moment in which they lived, said Master Yoannis Chavez Llopiz, a judge of the Provincial People's Court.
