Havana, May 10 (RHC, – The president of Vietnam's Central Bank Doan Hoai Anh said in Havana that Cuba has great potential to attract foreign investment and that many Vietnamese businesses are interested getting involved, given the opportunities opening here with the update of the island's economic model.
Vietnam and Cuba maintain very good relations, said the official, who noted that the two countries may share and contribute experiences in the economic field.
The Vietnamese official participated at the Meeting of the Council of the International Investment Bank, held this past week, and noted the active participation of Cuba in that financial institution, of which the island became a member in 1974.
