Bratislava, August 3 (RHC)-- Cuba's and Slovakia's representatives highlighted on Monday the good state of bilateral relations and called for the strengthening of collaboration and exchange between them.
Prensa-Latina news agency reported that during a meeting in Bratislava, Cuba's ambassador Yamila Pita and Slovakia's Minister of Finance, Eduard Heger discussed issues of common interest. They expressed the will of both sides to consolidate ties between the two nations.
Pita stressed the importance of cooperation and solidarity between States under challenging contexts such as the current Covid-19 crisis.
Meanwhile, Heger referred to the actions of the two countries to contain the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and acknowledged the progress in the fight against the pandemic.
Both representatives pointed out the need to increase joint work in various areas, including economy and trade.
