Havana, November 12 (RHC)--Cuban and Bolivian authorities expressed this Wednesday in La Paz their readiness to resume diplomatic relations, suspended after the coup d'état against Evo Morales in November 2019.
The recently appointed Bolivian Foreign Minister, Rogelio Mayta, and the acting head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in the Bolivian capital, Arcenis La O voiced their commitment during a meeting on Wednesday.
During the encounter, which took place in a relaxed and fraternal atmosphere, both diplomats talked about other mutual interest issues.
Last October 26, Bolivian President Luis Arce received the Cuban diplomat as a previous step to reconstruct the links suspended by the de facto government that took over after the coup d'état in the Andean- nation.
