Beijing, August 20 (RHC)-- China sent to Cuba 150 oxygen concentrators donated to support the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic there, diplomatic sources informed Friday.
The island's embassy in Beijing indicated that the gesture reflects the friendship and brotherhood between the two peoples.
This is the second batch of aid from China that Cuba has received in less than a month, after the 30 lung ventilators sent at the end of last July.
On that occasion, representatives from Havana considered the action evidence of the will of the authorities and population of the Asian country to show their solidarity with the island just when it is going through a particular situation.
They stressed that this is the true way to assist Cuba and not by imposing blockades or coercive measures, as the United States insists.
