Cuba reports 6,927 new Covid-19 cases and 74 deaths

Havana, September 3 (RHC)--Cuban health authorities reported on Friday 6 927 new cases of Covid-19, and 74 deaths in the last 24 hours due to complications from the disease.

With the current update, the Caribbean nation accumulates 672,599 patients diagnosed with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, and 5,538 fatalities.

There were 32 132 confirmed patients hospitalized on the island.

Pinar del Rio reported 895,  Havana 726, and Holguin 699. These were the provinces with the highest number of cases.
