Havana, September 9 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received Thursday former Bolivian President Evo Morales.
Granma newspaper reported that the Cuban President exchanged with the Chairman of the Movement Towards Socialism-Political Instrument for the Sovereignty of the Peoples (MAS-IPSP) on the regional and international situation.
Evo Morales reiterated his solidarity with the Cuban people.
In turn, Díaz-Canel thanked Morales for his messages of support and the donation of food and medical supplies sent by the Bolivian Government and people in August. He also highlighted the role of social movements and progressive forces in Latin America to confront neoliberalism.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez participated in the meeting.
