Havana, Oct 1 (RHC) Two more scientific centers in Cuba officially received the category of High Technology Enterprise for the results of their research, innovation and production work.

The distinction was granted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment to AICA Laboratories and the Center for Molecular Immunology (CIM), according to messages posted by these entities on the social network Twitter.

The first entity manufactures drugs with a portfolio of 170 products in the pharmaceutical forms of liquid injectables, in ampoules and lyophilized in vials, carpules and eye drops.

The company's production is supported by four production facilities: AICA, Liorad, Julio Trigo and CITOX, with 11 production lines and a facility dedicated to drug research and development.

It articulates its organizational mission from the will to deliver health and quality of life, for which it manufactures generic injectable medicines and sterile eye drops, with responsibility, excellence and sustainability.

In this way, Laboratorios AICA contributes to consolidate a trustworthy image in the market and society.

The CIM is a Cuban biotechnological institution of closed cycle (research-development, production, commercialization), which from the culture of superior cells orients its basic examination, development and manufacture of products to the treatment of cancer and other autoimmune diseases.(Cubasi)
