Havana, January 4 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated his gratitude for the solidarity and congratulatory messages on the 63rd anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
"Messages of congratulations, good wishes, commitment, and support for Cuba continue to arrive on the occasion of the celebration of the 63rd anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. We are grateful for these expressions of solidarity," the President wrote on Twitter.
Numerous governments, international authorities, and groups of island friends have sent messages on occasion.
"To all, I assure you that that beautiful work founded by Fidel and Raúl is still standing and in constant battle. A revolutionary embrace," the head of state stressed in an earlier tweet.
Among the congratulatory messages were those of the presidents of Russia, Vladimir Putin and China, Xi Jinping, also the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Un, congratulated the Cuban President.
Recently Díaz-Canel noted that 2021 was a year of losses and hard learning, but also of victories, and called "to embark together on the road to the New Year, with optimism and joy."
