Havana, February 11 (RHC)-- The parliamentary visit to the province of Camagüey, headed by the member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, concluded Friday after three days of touring most of the territory.

During those days, members of nine of the 11 working commissions of the highest legislative body visited more than 200 production and service centers and talked with some 4 thousand people.

Among other matters, the deputies verified the implementation of the main policies approved by the State and the Government and the progress of prioritized socioeconomic programs.

The summary of the parliamentary visit was attended by the highest authorities of the Agramontina province and leaders of the local government bodies in the 13 municipalities.
