Havana, May 19 (RHC)-- Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz began a working visit to Turkey on Thursday, with a program that includes meetings with the government and business authorities of that Eurasian nation.
According to the Twitter profile of the Cuban embassy in Ankara, the high-ranking Cuban leader met with Nureddin Nebati, Turkish Minister of Finance.
Another tweet reported that the Cuban deputy prime minister also held a working meeting with executives of the Centurion pharmaceutical company.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Turkey since their establishment on November 25, 1952.
Both nations maintain a fraternal tie based on friendship and respect between their peoples and the coincidence in the principles of international law.
