Havana, Jun 22 (RHC)-- Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas continued on Tuesday his work agenda in Russia, which included meetings with authorities and business people of the Eurasian nation.
Cabrisas met with the Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, the first vice-president of the Central Bank of Russia, Vladimir Chistiujin, and with the heads of Rosneft and InterRao companies, Igor Sechin and Boris Kovalchuk, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry's website.
The statement said that the meetings addressed current issues on developing and deepening bilateral economic, commercial, and financial relations, especially in the energy, industrial, air transport, and banking spheres.
In addition, the high-ranking official met with Alexei Lavrov, president of the Friendship Society with Cuba in the Russian Federation.
During the exchange, the permanent solidarity of the Russian people with Cuba in the struggle against the U.S. blockade was expressed, according to the press release.
