Cuban prosecutors and judges in accountability session
Havana, Jul 7 (RHC) The member of the political Bureau and President of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, Esteban Lazo Hernández, received the accountability reports from the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic and the People's Supreme Court.
In the presence of José Luis Toledo Santander, president of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission; the Attorney General, Yamila Peña Ojeda and the President of the Tribunal, Rubén Remigio Ferro, reported on the implementation of the new laws.
Peña Ojeda emphasized that the accountability is a popular process, with the participation of all workers and prosecutors, and characterized by broad and enriching debates.
The ninth ordinary session of the Parliament is scheduled for the 21st of the current month at the Havana Convention Palace, where both bodies will render account. (Source: Radio Reloj)
