Havana, July 10 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel held a meeting with young people on Sunday, during a productive day in the municipality of Bauta, in the western province of Artemisa, for the National Rebellion Day (July 26).
The volunteer work was called by the Union of Young Communists (UJC) as part of the activities to commemorate the 69th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks.
The President was joined by university students and prominent young people from various sectors, with whom he discussed the country's tasks in the current context.
The UJC develops this weekend a program of activities that included a bike ride for peace this Saturday, concerts and support tasks for production and services.
