Matanzas, August 10 (RHC)-- Cuba began the evaluation of the damages after the fire of significant proportions occurred at the Supertanker Base in the city of Matanzas.
After that analysis, recovery planning will begin, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero said on Twitter.
In that social media network, he clarified that at this moment, the water spill continues, by land and air, to cool the surface and to be able to start the search for the missing people.
In another publication, he argued that there is total control and reduction of the smoke emission without danger to people.
He added that the fire had been controlled, and work is underway to extinguish small outbreaks.
Regarding the work that continues on the field, Marrero said, "we are still in the fight."
