Havana, July 31 (RHC) -– Cuba has reiterated its condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has left more than 1,000 dead since Tel Aviv began its raids.
In a statement issued in Havana, the Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed its most energetic condemnation of the situation and ratified its unquenchable support of the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination and to establish an independent state with its capital in East Jerusalem.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry has followed with growing concern the serious events in the Gaza Strip, particularly the indiscriminate attacks by the Israeli army against civilian targets, which have caused thousands of deaths and wounded, and massive destruction of property and infrastructure, the statement pointed out.
Cuba called on the international community and the UN Security Council to demand the immediate stop to the Israeli aggression, the lifting of the blockade on Gaza, the re-establishment of medical, electricity and water services to preserve the lives of hundreds of thousands innocent people.
Last July 11th, Cuba condemned the Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip and recalled that only a dialog on equal grounds could lead to fair peace that allows the Palestinian people to enjoy their inalienable rights and to definitely establish a Palestinian state.
