Cuba Promotes Tourist Attractions in Japan

Tokyo, August 2 (RHC)-- Cuba’s cultural, historic and tourist attractions were presented during a monthly business forum at Tokyo’s Azabu 2020 Club, according to the island’s embassy in the Japanese capital city.

Cuban diplomat Damian Delgado met with over 30 Japanese business people to explain about the transformations underway on the island as part of the update of the Cuban economic model.

The Cuban official referred to the new Foreign Investment Law and the opportunities on the offer at the first special development zone, set up in the western Cuban harbor of Mariel, some 45 kilometers from Havana, Prensa Latina news agency reported on Saturday.

The Japanese entrepreneurs expressed their respect and admiration for the social achievements of the Cuban people and their questions showed an interest in the Cuban market.
