Havana, Oct 19 (RHC) Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla will present Cuba's report on the blockade to the diplomatic corps accredited in our country on Wednesday.
On November 2 and 3, the Caribbean nation will present the draft resolution against the U.S. blockade before the United Nations General Assembly.
After more than 60 years of siege, that policy affects today, more than ever, Cuban families inside and outside the country, added Rodríguez Parrilla in a recent publication on the social network Twitter.
Last year, the resolution calling for the end of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade obtained a total of 184 votes in favor, two against (the United States and Israel), and three abstentions (Colombia, Brazil, and Ukraine).
The blockade has been described by the Cuban Foreign Ministry as a massive, flagrant, and systematic violation of human rights, which has caused more than 150,410 million dollars in losses at current prices up to June 2021.
