Cuban government ratifies will to strengthen friendship with Cambodia
Havana, Nov 9 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero ratified Wednesday the willingness to continue strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation with Cambodia, on the 69th anniversary of its Declaration of Independence.
In his Twitter account, the head of government reiterated congratulations to the Southeast Asian nation that celebrates its liberation after almost a century of French colonialism.
On this day, the Cuban prime minister sent a congratulatory message to his Cambodian counterpart, Hun Sen, in which he recalled the recent and historic exchange of visits between the two heads of government, who traveled to Havana and Phnom Penh, respectively.
Marrero highlighted the bilateral meeting held in early October with Hun Sen in Havana and called for further strengthening of friendship and cooperation.
Likewise, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated the King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamoni, and conveyed his best wishes for the prosperity and welfare of the people of the Asian country. (Source: Prensa Latina).
