Havana, Dec 19 (RHC) A business meeting will be held this Monday in the city of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic in which more than 80 Cuban entrepreneurs, from the new forms of non-state management, will participate.
Organized by the Mipyme EvexconSLR, its purpose is to give continuity to the EXPEDITIA I event, held last June in Punta Cana.
The participants arrived in the country last Friday, including new Micro, Small, and Medium Size enterprises (MSMEs), self-employed workers, non-agricultural cooperatives, and local development projects in sectors such as construction, information technology, food, industry, and services.
The purpose of the event is to exchange with Dominican businessmen on related topics to export and import products and purchase raw materials and supplies between both parties.
Alfonso Larrea, sole administrator of EvexconSLR explained that this is the third event of this type, two of them were held in the Dominican Republic and one in Venezuela, with satisfactory results.
One of the main goals of EvexconSLR is the organization of business events aimed at promoting the economic development of the island.
