Havana, December 24 (RHC)-- Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Party's Central Committee and President of the Republic, today congratulated the workers of Laboratorio Farmacéutico Oriente (LBF) on its half-century anniversary.

The president on Twitter recognized this collective that in the midst of the hard blows of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba continue to make significant contributions in the production of medicines.

The Oriente Pharmaceutical Laboratory, which belongs to the BioCubafarma Business Group, has four production units dedicated to the production and commercialization of generic medicines, natural products and bandages.
