Panama's Foreign Minister to visit Cuba
Havana, January 27 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, will pay an official visit to Cuba starting January 28, Cuban Foreign Ministry announced today.
According to the source, during her stay, the distinguished visitor will hold conversations with Cuban authorities and carry out other activities of interest.
Cuba and Panama re-established diplomatic relations in 1974 and the Central American country has historically supported the Resolution presented by Havana in the United Nations General Assembly since 1992 condemning the U.S. blockade.
Cooperation currently extends not only to the economic and commercial sectors but also to the fields of health, education, and science. (Source: PL)
