World Council of the José Martí Project of International Solidarity
Havana, Jan 29 (RHC) The VI International Conference 'For the Balance of the World' will be held from January 28 to 31, 2025 in Havana, as agreed by the members of the World Council of the José Martí Project of International Solidarity.
During the closing ceremony, the day before, the fifth edition of this important forum, the Dominican intellectual Max Puig read out the call in the presence of the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
"We are convinced that the great reception of the conferences held so far will guarantee the success of the next meeting," stressed the sociologist and politician.

Bringing together professors, researchers, cultural promoters, representatives of non-governmental organizations, foundations, social activists, religious leaders, and government authorities will contribute to the sensitization of societies and individuals in favor of building a more just and supportive world, and therefore, a more balanced one.
The World Council of the José Martí Project highlighted the open nature of the exchanges that take place in these meetings regardless of the religious background, political affiliation, and cultural horizons of the participants, as this plurality guarantees their impact in influencing the welfare of the people.
The statement released states that the 2025 meeting will be an occasion to commemorate the sacrifice of José Martí, Cuba's National Hero, and to highlight his idea that Homeland is Humanity. (Source: ACN)
