Havana, February 1 (RHC) An important donation of computer equipment, office materials, and expendable accessories destined for health was received on Tuesday afternoon by the Secretary General of the CTC, Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, and the member of the National Secretariat of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) Osmaida Hernández Beleño.
The items associated with the control of the pandemic (gloves, masks, disposable clothing, antigen tests, and digital blood pressure equipment) will be delivered to public health institutions shortly.
The IT equipment will contribute to the CTC's computerization process and the optimization of its internal communications network. In a distribution outline, Guilarte said that at least one laptop could be delivered to each of the 171 Municipal Committees and reinforce the economic area of the CTC.

The contribution was sent by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), whose top leaders Wang Dongming and ShenYueyue have held virtual meetings with their Cuban counterparts Ulises Guilarte and Teresa Amerelle.
The Chinese ambassador congratulated the CTC on the recent celebration (last January 28) of its 84th anniversary and said that the donation reflects the special friendship that exists between China and Cuba. He affirmed that his country's organizations give high priority to relations with Cuban institutions. (Source: Trabajadores)
