Havana, Feb 15 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero ratified his country's will to expand ties with Algeria, during a meeting with a high-level delegation from that North African nation.

The head of government held a fraternal conversation with the Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform of Algeria, Abdelhak Saihi, who chairs the group of leaders and businessmen who carry out activities to promote bilateral cooperation.

On his Twitter account, Marrero said during the dialogue he thanked the African nation for its support and reiterated Cuba’s willingness to continue strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

On this day, the Algerian delegation participated in a business forum that showed sectors with business possibilities between Havana and Algiers, a fact that gives continuity to the agreements signed by the leaders of Cuba and Algeria during a meeting last December.

The day before, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received Abdelhak Saihi at the Palace of the Revolution, who also met with the Cuban Ministers of Finance and Prices, Commerce, Energy and Mines, Foreign Investment, and the Central Bank of Cuba. (Prensa Latina)
