Havana, Feb 18 (RHC) The member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Roberto Morales Ojeda met Saturday with the ambassadors of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the People's Republic of China and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
In the cordial meeting, Morales stressed the willingness of the Communist Party of Cuba to strengthen and further expand the excellent ties that unite our people and communist parties.
The meeting was favorable to update the diplomats on the work developed by the PCC guided by the concepts, ideas, and guidelines approved at the 8th Congress of the organization, and the agreements of the plenary sessions of the Central Committee developed during the year 2022.
The ambassadors expressed their interest to deepen collaboration and reiterated their firm condemnation of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.
Also participating in the meeting were Joel Queipo Ruíz, member of the Secretariat and Head of the Economic and Productive Department of the CC PCC; Roberto Pérez Jiménez, member of the Central Committee and Head of the Organization Department; Emilio Lozada García, Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee, as well as other officials of the PCC and the Embassies.
