Havana, Feb 20 (RHC) Emilio Lozada, head of the Department of International Relations of the Communist Party of Cuba, described on Twitter as inhumane Israel's missile aggression against Damascus, at a time when the Syrian people are struggling to recover from the earthquake of last February 6.

The deputy head of the U.S. Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Johana Tablada, repudiated the attack, which caused at least five deaths and more than 15 wounded, as well as the aggressions perpetrated for years against the Syrian population, as a result of impunity and double standards of Washington and other countries.

According to a report by the Prensa Latina news agency, Israel attacked residential neighborhoods in Damascus in the early hours of Sunday, as part of systematic military actions against civilian targets, including homes, service centers, airports, and ports.

The bombings coincide with those carried out recently by the Daesh terrorist organization, which killed dozens of innocent civilians in the eastern Homs governorate, denounced the Syrian Foreign Ministry.

According to the source that institution called to stop the Israeli attacks against the national territory and to force Tel Aviv to account for its criminal actions. (Source: ACN)
