17th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan
Havana, March 13 (RHC) The Cuban Foreign Ministry on Monday saluted the 17th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.
On its official Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry recalled the date and ratified Cuba’s will to ‘continue to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite us.’
The two nations’ bilateral relations are based on friendship and mutual respect. Historic ties date back to when Uzbekistan was part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). (Source: PL)
