Cuba and Angola strengthen political ties and economic cooperation
Havana, Apr 7 (RHC) Cuba and Angola verified in Havana today the common desire to strengthen their political, economic-commercial and cooperation ties, guided by historical ties of friendship, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez affirmed.
On his Twitter profile, the highest representative of the island's diplomacy pointed out that such interest was demonstrated during a meeting held with the Minister of State and head of the Civil House of the Presidency of Angola, Adão Francisco Correia de Almeida.
Delegations from both countries began this Thursday the fifteenth session of the intergovernmental commission, during which they will focus on nine key sectors, to evaluate results and projections and sign three legal instruments. They will also address the progress in the negotiations for the establishment of the bilateral economic agenda, aimed at projecting relations beyond the short term.
Cuba and Angola maintain ties of friendship and solidarity, forged in the common struggle to maintain Angolan independence and mutual support in difficult situations and in the search for development. (Source: Prensa Latina)
